How Much Does Real Estate Finance Tutoring Cost?
Individual sessions are $180 per hour and group sessions are $120 per hour per attendee. Sessions start at a one-hour minimum and can be extended in 30-minute increments.
What Topics Do You Cover?
Real estate financial modeling (acquisition, value-add and development), equity waterfalls, debt sizing, Excel, real estate private equity modeling tests and case studies, technical interview questions and graduate coursework. We do not cover the real estate salesperson license exam.
Who Is Tutoring Best Suited For?
Career switchers, undergrads, graduate students in MSRE, MRED, MSIRE and MBA programs, recent grads, analysts, associates and entrepreneurs looking to break into or advance in real estate investment, development or private equity. No prior experience is needed.
Can You Help Me Prepare for a REPE Modeling Test or Case Study?
Yes. We work through timed acquisition, development and value-add case studies, take-home tests and investment memos, and practice the technical questions that come with them.
Will You Do My Assignment for Me?
No. We explain the concepts, model alongside you and review your work so you understand it and can do it yourself, which is what your exams and interviews will test.
How Are Sessions Held?
Almost all sessions are online over Google Meet or occasionally Zoom, and you receive all files at the end. In-person sessions are limited to New York City, Nassau County and Westchester County.
How Soon Can I Book, and What Time Zone Are You In?
Same-day sessions are often available. We are based in New York and work in Eastern Time, with students across the US and as far as London.
How Do I Pay?
Payment is due when you book a time slot and can be made through Venmo, Zelle, Cash App or PayPal.
What Is the Cancellation Policy?
Your first cancellation or reschedule is no problem. After that, the session fee is retained.
Can I Record the Session?
No. Sessions are not recorded, and you keep every file we build together.
